Prevention Resource Network (PRN)

Prevention Resource Network (PRN) provides high-impact prevention services to assist HIV negative and HIV positive people at risk for getting or transmitting the disease. PRN is funded by the NJ Department of Health, Division of HIV, STD, and TB Services and the NJ Department of Human Services, Division of Mental Health and Addiction Services.

    Services Include The Following:

    Rapid HIV Testing

    A free, confidential service that provides results in 20 minutes. This service is available on-site and also available on the Mobile Testing Unit that travels throughout Monmouth and Ocean Counties.

    Harm Reduction Services

    Provides free syringes and injection equipment for individuals injecting drugs and/or hormones. Program provides harm reduction counselling and overdose prevention counselling. Provides low threshold buprenorphine induction to eligible individuals requesting medically assisted opioid treatment.

    PrEP Counseling

    Provides counseling to gay and bi-sexual men who feel they are at high risk for HIV. Counsellors are available in our office or in the community.

    Eligibility

    Must be a New Jersey resident between the ages of 21-64 who is uninsured or has insurance that does not cover the cost of these services

    Insurance/income Requirements

    Program serves low income individuals up to the 250% Federal Poverty Guideline
