New Appointments Elected to VNA Health Group Board of Trustees

October 19, 2017 (Holmdel, NJ) – Visiting Nurse Association (VNA) Health Group announced the appointment of new officers and Trustees to its Board of Trustees at its recent 105rd Annual Meeting held at Navesink Country Club.  The VNA Health Group Board of Trustees is a voluntary Board responsible for the governance and fiduciary oversight of New Jersey’s and Ohio’s largest nonprofit home- and community-based care companies including VNA of Central Jersey, VNA Health Group Foundation, Robert Wood Johnson Visiting Nurses, Visiting Nurse Association of Englewood, Visiting Nurse Association Health Group of NJ and VNA of Ohio.

 

Board Trustee, Patrick (PJ) McMenamin of Spring Lake was appointed as Vice Chairman to the thirty-six-member Board.  Mr. McMenamin has been a Trustee with VNA Health Group since 2008 and has served as the Treasurer since 2011. In addition to his role as Chairman of the Finance Committee, Mr. McMenamin also spearheads the Investment and Pension Committee and was honored at VNA Health Group’s Holiday Dinner Dance in 2015 for his incredible support and guidance of VNA Health Group throughout the years. Mr. McMenamin serves as the Managing Director at Hotchkis & Wiley, an investment management firm.

 

In addition, Mr. Ronald Klein, a retired Chief Stores Officer of Macy’s Inc. was appointed Treasurer to the VNA Health Group Board of Trustees. Mr. Klein of Rumson has served as a Trustee since 2013 and Chairs the Home Health and Private Care Advisory Board, a Committee that is responsible to the VNA Health Group Board of Trustees for advisement on professional issues, review of policies, evaluation of programs and services and review of quality improvement activities related to Home Health and Private Care. Mr. Klein also serves on the Audit Committee.

 

In addition to board these appointments, the VNA Health Group announced Tom Seay of Cleveland as a new VNA Health Group/VNA of Central Jersey Trustee, and Judd Shaw of Boca Raton, FL as a new VNA Health Group Foundation Trustee.

 

Mr. Seay is the Managing Director of Research at Hartland & Co with over 25 years of experience in investment management and is the Chairman of the VNA of Ohio Board of Trustees. Mr. Shaw is a Managing Partner of Shaw Kreizer P.A., a multi-jurisdiction law firm with offices in New Jersey, New York and Florida. Mr. Shaw concentrates his practice in representing medical providers and clients seeking No-Fault benefits/reimbursement.
