Red Bank AYF is proud to support the American Cancer Society and NJCEED program with their initiative focusing on early detection and screenings to catch cancer early, when it is most treatable. The purpose of the RUMBLE FOR THE RIBBONN POWDERPUFF FOOTBALL TOURNAMENT is to provide a platform both educational and entertaining in a family atmosphere in collaboration with local grassroots programs to focus on promoting cancer screenings, honoring cancer survivors, and planning special pre-game events in partnership with the community stake holders. In line with the NFL, the focus will not only be on breast cancer but colorectal and others to name a few.

The event will consist of a 4-8 team powderpuff football tournament made up of women from different business/organizations all enjoying a great time. Each team will wear a color to represent one of the forms of cancer. Because as a program we are focused on the entire well being of our families using the life course perspective, we will have a health and wellness fair where community stakeholders will provide education and screenings for mental, physical, financial and other areas important to a well rounded family. No event is complete without the fun so we are looking to provide face painting, bouncy houses, and other activities for children that line up with our events mission.
