Grateful Patient Story: Englewood Hospice Team

I wish to thank everyone at the VNA Hospice in Englewood for the care and devotion shown to my beloved husband Albert during his long illness. But for that care, I do not believe he would have lived as long and as well as he did.

I wish to especially thank Emma who did all she could to schedule the aides and nurses who were most familiar with Albert’s needs so that there would be continuity to his care.

As for the caregivers, I especially wish to thank Carlene Campbell for her care and devotion to Albert, both at home and at the Jewish Home at Rockleigh. Please also extend my gratitude to Beverly and Susan who tenderly attended to Albert at the Home during the last few months of his life.

As for the nurses who carefully ministered to his needs during his illness at home, I am indebted to Monica, Tashana, Daniela and Richmond. And much appreciation for Janet’s keeping in touch with me especially during his last months at the Home.

And then, of course, there is the beautiful Lisa Broniak to whom I wish to express my deep gratitude for the joy and pleasure she brought to both Albert and me with her wonderful singing and guitar playing.

And finally I wish to thank the team for their lovely condolence note. I miss Dr. Eichen very, very much. And I miss seeing and interacting with all of you.
