John Albright leads the VNA Health Group’s Information Technology team who provide tech support for more than 2,100 employees and clinicians. Prior to his eight-year tenure as leader, John served as a technology consultant for 12 years at VNA Health Group. Under his leadership and guidance, technology has become a driving force within the organization. By applying IT best practices, John helps VNA Health Group attain better patient care. Some of the technologies John is championing include data analytics to better treat patients, and telehealth, to monitor patients in their homes 24/7.

VNA Health Group truly embraces technology in home health, hospice care and house-call doctors, with more than 1,500 clinicians now using mobile technology in patients’ homes. This technology allows clinicians quick access to patient information. Under John’s leadership, VNA Health Group was one of the first home health organizations to implement this technology in 1999.

John’s guiding principle is simple: to offer technology that is truly helpful to the people that use it. With more than 35 years experience in technology, 20 years in health care, John is proud to be part of an organization that recognizes the power and potential of technology to enhance patient care.
