Chief Employee Experience Officer/ VP of Internal Care Coordination

Lisa Dillon Zwerdling is the VNA Health Group’s Chief Employee Experience Officer, Vice President of Internal Care Coordination, and Chair of Employee Engagement.  Lisa is responsible for innovative programming that excites, engages and recognizes employees.  She collaborates with leadership to promote understanding of quantitative and qualitative engagement data, and the utilization of this information to identify actionable plans that nurture team engagement.  Lisa passionately believes that steering a positive organizational culture heightens service excellence and inclusion.

Lisa has been working for VNA Health Group for almost 30 years in direct patient care and nursing administration.  She is a Board Certified Geriatric Nurse, holds a Master’s degree in Nursing Administration, received graduate certificates in Healthcare Management & Leadership, and Diversity & Inclusion, and is certified in the areas of Holistic Employee Experience, Engagement and Performance and Chronic Care Self-management.   She has presented at numerous national conferences on clinical nursing, home health care, and employee and patient experience.  Lisa is the recipient of many awards, including the 2006 VNA Health Group Nurse of the Year Award, and the 2009 VNAA (Visiting Nurse Association of America) Clinician of the Year Award.

Lisa is an active volunteer with the American Red Cross and the Marine Mammal Stranding Center.  She’s worked on numerous national disasters, including Hurricanes Katrina, Rita, Irene, and Sandy.  Lisa lives at the Jersey shore with her husband and dog.  She enjoys time with her four grown children and their spouses, and any spare minute with her five beautiful grandchildren.
