Teresa Lee, Esq, MPH

Chief Government Affairs Officer and Vice President of Foundation Relations

Teresa Lee serves as Chief Government Affairs Officer and Vice President of Foundation Relations for VNA Health Group. In this role, Teresa is the primary liaison with federal, state, and local elected and appointed officials and government agencies across all of VNA Health Group’s programs and geographies. She is also responsible for managing VNAHG’s extensive grants program and identifies and engages public and private funders cultivating support for VNAHG’s programs and services. She leads the execution of an overall VNA Health Group government affairs and foundation relations strategy.

With over twenty years of experience working in government, trade associations and non-profit organizations, Teresa has developed expertise in health care policy and regulatory issues with a focus on payment and health care delivery systems. She began her career in the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Office of Counsel to the Inspector General and has worked in trade associations representing physicians and medical device manufacturers. Prior to joining VNA Health Group, Teresa served as the Executive Director of the Alliance for Home Health Quality and Innovation. She is an attorney and received a B.A. from the University of California at Berkeley, a J.D. from George Washington University Law School, and a M.P.H. from Harvard School of Public Health.

Teresa and her husband Ben have two sons, Jameson and Grant. She enjoys traveling, reading and spending time with family and friends.
