VNA Health Group Announces New Board of Trustees Leadership
Eileen O’Hern Luby, JD, and Kenny King, CFA, assume top leadership roles. Outgoing leaders Robert Dibble and Patrick J. McMenamin were recognized for their service.
NEPTUNE, NJ (November 25, 2025) – Visiting Nurse Association Health Group (VNA Health Group) is pleased to announce new leadership on its Board of Trustees. Longtime Trustee and supporter Eileen O’Hern Luby, JD, has assumed the role of Chair, succeeding Robert (Bob) Dibble, who will continue serving as Immediate Past Chair on the Executive Committee. Kenny King, CFA, who has served on the Finance Committee and chaired VNA’s Civility, Belonging, and Inclusion (CBI) Committee, has been appointed Vice Chair. Both leaders have been active board members and contributors for many years, bringing diverse expertise and a shared commitment to VNA Health Group’s mission.
“Eileen and Kenny represent the very best of VNA Health Group. Their expanded leadership roles will extend our impact at a time when home health, hospice, and community care have never been more essential,” said Rinn. “I am grateful for their partnership and for the thoughtful leadership of our outgoing leaders, Bob Dibble and Patrick McMenamin, who have been an invaluable source of insight and perspective.”
Luby previously served as Vice Chair and, before that, as Secretary of the Board. Eileen chaired the Ethics Committee for over 15 years, as well as the Institutional Review Board since its inception in 2015. Among her many contributions is the establishment of the Cristine Meredith Miele Fund, which supports community breast health initiatives, including supplemental funding for VNA Health Group’s Cancer Education and Early Detection (CEED) Program.
“It is a privilege to be elected Chair of this revered community health organization,” said Luby. “I look forward to working with our Board and our CEO, Christopher Rinn, and his outstanding staff to continue the mission-driven work of our beloved founder, Geraldine Thompson.”
Kenny King’s connection to VNA Health Group began through his wife, Nora, and her involvement with the Children & Family Health Institute (CFHI). After attending an event with her, he became increasingly involved with the organization, serving on the Finance Committee and chairing the Mission CBI Committee. King’s professional expertise as Managing Director at Alter Domus and a CFA Charterholder complements his dedication to VNA Health Group’s mission.
“I am honored to serve as Vice Chair of the VNA Health Group Board of Trustees. I look forward to continuing my work with Christopher Rinn and VNAHG’s leadership team as we support the staff who work tirelessly to improve the lives of patients of all ages,” said King.
Bob Dibble, who has served as Chair of the Board since January 2024, will conclude his two-year term at the end of 2025, but will continue serving on the Executive Committee as Immediate Past Chair. During his tenure, Dibble focused on strengthening board governance, refining committee leadership selection, and cultivating emerging leaders through initiatives like the Emerging Leadership Board (ELB), which has become a feeder for the main board.
Patrick (PJ) McMenamin, who served as Immediate Past Chair and a board member for 15 years, is stepping off the board entirely. He was recently honored with the Judith Stanley Coleman Award for Exceptional Service in Community Health, recognizing his extraordinary contributions to VNA Health Group and the communities it serves. During his tenure, McMenamin guided the organization through leadership transitions, pandemic response, and critical governance improvements. He and his wife, Patty, also co-chaired and supported the annual Holiday Bash, which has raised over $1.7 million to benefit hospice services, maternal and child health programs, and community health initiatives.
At the annual meeting, VNA Health Group also recognized individuals for their impact and dedication to the organization and the community. Assemblywoman Luanne Peterpaul received the Community Partner Award for her tireless advocacy for public health and her support of VNA’s community health centers, including state funding for programs such as the LGBTQ+ Health Center. Neal Oristano, recognized with the Philanthropic Partner Award, has contributed both time and resources over 15 years to advance the VNA’s mission, including guiding the Connected Health Institute. Both awards were accepted on behalf of the recipients due to prior commitments.
The new leadership team will work collaboratively to guide VNA Health Group’s mission of empowering individuals and families to live their best lives. The organization remains grateful to all outgoing and continuing trustees for their dedication and looks forward to new opportunities and initiatives under the guidance of Chair Luby and Vice Chair King.
