Support Children and Family Programs

VNA Health Group’s Children and Family Health Institute provides health care services to more than 54,000 at-risk individuals and families each year. Philanthropy helps bridge the gap between public funding and the cost to provide care. Members of the community are also encouraged to support the Children and Family Health Institute by volunteering.

Our Emerging Leadership Board, a group of young professionals dedicated to supporting the VNA mission, hosts networking events and an annual signature fundraising event, the Summer Soirée.

The Children’s Auxiliary is a group of energized volunteers who raise funds for the Institute through their special events, Power of the Purse and Family Fall Festival. The Children’s Auxiliary also provides hands-on volunteer opportunities through their “Gear to Grow” program which provides gently used baby and children’s items for families in need. This volunteer-driven program invites the community to donate lightly used strollers, high chairs, toys, books and other items which are then given to VNA families in need.
