Early Childhood Development
Early Intervention Programs NJ Residents Can Trust
Because Every Child Counts
Ensure your child has the best start in life with intervention programs from Visiting Nurse Association Health Group. Our Special Child Health Services (SCHS) and Early Intervention Programs are a grant-funded, case management service provided by VNA Health Group for residents of Monmouth and Burlington counties in New Jersey.
Any special child—infant, young child or young adult—that has a health problem or condition that interferes with normal growth or development may be a candidate for our early childhood development programs. Our Special Child Health Services are available to children through the age of 21, regardless of a parent's ability to pay. Our Early Intervention Program services are provided to care for children with special needs, from birth to 3 years of age.
Whether your child was born prematurely, is chronically ill, is experiencing developmental delays, or has been injured in some way, we can help. After a complete assessment, VNA nurse case managers create an in-depth plan to address the child's unique medical, dental, education, developmental and rehabilitation needs. Then we work with you to obtain all of the services and support they need. In the past, we have helped families with everything from getting mental health and nutritional counseling to securing medical insurance and paying medical bills.
