For HIV Counseling NJ Residents Turn to VNA

HIV Prevention and Care Close to Home

We are committed to supporting the long-term health and well-being of people from all walks of life including individuals who identify as gay, lesbian, bisexual or transgender. Our HIV/AIDS prevention, treatment and counseling services are provided through the Prevention Resource Network (PRN) based in Asbury Park and our mobile-health unit often can be spotted providing free, confidential and rapid-HIV testing and counseling throughout Monmouth County.

In addition, we operate the national Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program in Middlesex and Monmouth Counties, which provides case management services for individuals living with HIV/AIDS to help you be your healthiest.

If you or a loved one is living with HIV, a world of resources is available through Visiting Nurse Association Health Group. We offer testing, counseling and home care for patients with HIV and AIDS.  Our goal is to educate the community on HIV/AIDS, and to offer resources for those battling the virus and disease.

The AIDS Community Care Alternatives Program (ACCAP) is a special waiver program for people of any age with AIDS and children up to age 13 who are HIV positive. VNA case managers connect patients and families with resources for private-duty nursing, medical day care, personal care assistance, home care, and VNA hospice care.
