Ami’s professional experience includes compliance, quality assurance, and risk management. Prior to her role in healthcare administration, Ami was as an occupational therapist at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, specializing in the rehabilitation of the upper extremity and hand. Ami has presented at various professional venues, including the American Association of Rehabilitation Nurses, the American Occupational Therapy Association, the University of Pennsylvania, Monmouth University, and the Brain Injury Alliance of New Jersey. Additionally, she served as adjunct facility for graduate studies at the University of the Sciences of Philadelphia. Ami holds a juris doctorate with a specialty in health law from Widener University Law School. Ami is a member of the Health Care Compliance Association and the American Society of Healthcare Risk Management.

Ami serves as a board member of Beat the Streets New Jersey, and has Chaired the Education Focus Area Committee of Impact 100 Jersey Coast for two consecutive years. Ami enjoys tennis, gastronomy, travel and spending time with her husband and two daughters.
